The 74th Republic Day was celebrated in Blooming Buds ABC Montessori School, a part of Moga’s renowned educational institution Blooming Buds School, under the leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. Beautiful charts were made by the students and the staff of the school. A rangoli was made dedicated to the Republic Day and the entire school campus was decorated in tricolor. On this occasion, Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini hoisted the National Flag and saluted it. All the students saluted with Tricolor flags in their hands and sang the National Anthem. President of the Samrala Hockey Club, Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bedi, was also especially present on this occasion. While addressing the students, Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini congratulated everyone on the Republic Day. They reminded the students about the history of this day. They said that the first Republic Day was celebrated on 26 January 1950, three years after Independence. The Constitution was adopted by the Indian Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949, led by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. It came into force on January 26, 1950. During the event, patriotic songs and poems were presented by the tiny-tots. At the end, Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini distributed chocolates to all the students and staff.
