Blooming Buds ABC Montessori School is part of Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga. Under the leadership of Group Chairman Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs Kamal Saini, Holi festival was celebrated today with great fanfare. Charts related to Holi were made by the students through drawing and school principal Mrs. Sonia Sharma told the students about the sacred festival of Holi that this festival is connected with the story of King Hiranyakship, who was a cruel king. He enlisted the help of his sister, Holika to kill his own son Prahlad, who was a worshiper of Lord Vishnu. In an attempt to burn Prahlad, Holika sat with him on a pyre, wearing a sheet over her that protected her from the fire. But the sheet protected Prahlad and Holika was burnt. Later that night Lord Vishnu succeeds in killing Hiranyakship and the event is narrated as the victory of good over evil. In many places in India, a huge bonfire is lit on the night before Holi, also known as Holika Dahan to mark the occasion. On this occasion students celebrated Holi by playing with Colours. Principal Sonia Sharma congratulated all the students and staff on Festival of Holi.
