Punjab Cricket Association Mohali Leadership honoured at Moga

PCA Newly Appointed President S. Amarjit Singh Mehta's Nomination took Place From Moga Itself - Sanjeev Saini

To honour S. Amarjit Singh Mehta, the newly elected president of Punjab Cricket Association Mohali a party was organized. Moga District Cricket Association and the personalities of District Moga, BBS Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Eminent Industrialist S. Inderpal Singh Babbi, Joint Secretary, DCA Moga S. Davinder Pal Singh Rimpi ji welcomed the entire team of Punjab Cricket Association Mohali with a bouquet of flowers and welcomed them on their arrival at Moga. Senior Superintendent of Police J. Elenchesian (IPS) of Moga district also specially present on this occasion. On stage during the party Sanjeev Kumar Saini played an important role and he said that it is a matter of pride for Moga district that today the Leadership of Punjab Cricket Association Mohali have reached Moga who also hold a special place in The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It is also worth mentioning here that the newly appointed president of the Punjab Cricket Association, S. Amarjit Singh Mehta Ji’s nomination was also from Moga district. During this, General Secretary of Moga Cricket Association Mr. Kamal Arora welcomed all the guests and told that Moga district occupies a special place in the world of cricket. It is a matter of great pride that Moga district has become the fourth such district of Punjab which has formed its own women’s cricket team, otherwise only a few players were selected from each district and two or three districts used to prepare the team together. Earlier there were only three such districts which formed their own separate women’s cricket team. He informed Entire Leadership of PCA, Mohali about the difficulties faced in promoting cricket in Moga district and preparing good players.  After this S. Amarjit Singh Mehta, while addressing, thanked the District Cricket Association Moga and the visiting personalities for inviting them to Moga. He said that Moga district has been successful in producing great players in the world of cricket. It is a matter of great pride that Harmandeep Kaur, who is leading the women’s cricket team today, is the daughter of Moga district. He also expressed the belief through his address that in the near future all necessary facilities and required infrastructure will be provided in Moga district which will help in producing good sportsperson. On this occasion, the Eminent Industrialist of Moga city S. Inderpal Singh Babbi ji also assured that they are ready to provide all kinds of support to promote cricket in Moga district and produce good players.
