Under this campaign, on the occasion of Earth Day, students presented charts and articles related to this day. Presenting the article, They said that every year, April 22 is celebrated as International Mother Earth Day. The day is celebrated to create awareness among people about pollution and other activities that directly or indirectly harm the environment and result in the destruction of the planet. In the 1970s, Earth Day was established by Senator Gaylord Nelson to encourage conservation of the environment and raise awareness of concerns surrounding the Earth. Every year this day is celebrated under a particular theme. The theme of this year’s International Mother Earth Day 2023 is ‘Invest in our Planet’. This theme highlights the need for people to come together and take action to protect biodiversity and the planet. Climate change is no longer a distant thing in the future and with the increasing incidence of floods and fires, it is important to take stock of the situation and act accordingly. Due to the continuous use of plastic and cutting of trees by the rest of the people, the earth is also suffering a lot of damage, at the same time, due to the technological age, every country is ignoring the damage to the environment in the race to be better than others. The need of the hour is to make sure that every effort is made to save the environment. During this school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that every student must plant at least one tree in his life and take care of it. A painting competition was also organized in the school in connection with Earth Day in which students were asked to depict various ways of saving the environment through painting.
