Blooming Buds School team won first place in the Entrepreneurship Development Program

Knowledge of Entrepreneurship can solve the problem of unemployment – Sanjeev Saini

Blooming Buds School is a renowned educational institution of the area which provides various platforms to students to bring out the hidden talent within them. Under the leadership of BBS Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini, 23 students of Blooming Buds School got the opportunity to participate in the Entrepreneurship Development Program for the knowledge of Entrepreneurship and under this program they were provided seminars under the 6 months program and participated in many workshops. Students got an opportunity to present their ideas and projects in the closing ceremony of this program held at Chandigarh on April 26. In which 13 teams shared their ideas. Out of which team ‘Aquila’ of Blooming Buds School won the first place in idea presentation which consisted of school students Manpreet Kaur, Simranpreet Kaur, Jasleen Kaur, Mohmeet Singh, Ehsaasdeep Singh and Tanush Bansal. During the competition of Pitching the idea student BBS Devanshu became Second Runner-up. At the end of the ceremony, Chairman Youth Development Board of Punjab Mr. Parminder Singh Goldi was present to give certificates to the students. During the ceremony, The principal of the school Dr. Hamiliya Rani, in-charge teacher Amandeep Kaur, Jashanpreet Singh were also honored. On reaching the school, during the morning assembly, the winning students were honored in front of the entire school and they shared their experiences about the program. While sharing information, school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that to remove the biggest problem of the country, which is unemployment, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chandigarh, Punjab University, Punjab Engineering College, I. I. T. Ropar joined hands with Young Hopes of India Foundation, Chandigarh to work exclusively on Entrepreneurship and Rural Development Program To encourage entrepreneurship and inculcate the entrepreneurial spirit, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Rural Development launched the first phase under the 3-phase Entrepreneurship Development Programme, i.e. Personality Development Center for schools for the desired personality of an entrepreneur. Only 7 schools were selected from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Chandigarh. Worth mentioning the Blooming Buds School, Moga was also one of the schools selected for this programme. 23 students of the school participated in this program. In which they were introduced to six topics starting from the basics of entrepreneurship such as Idea Generation, Business Planning, Funding, Revenue Models, Legal Regulations involved in Entrepreneurship and Idea Pitching. Various seminars, lectures were organized for the students on these topics. These topics were covered with three activities on each topic, first a lecture in the school, then a workshop at the partner institute and competitions were conducted both online and offline. Mr. Chetan Sahore, an expert in industries and organizations, guided the students in the above subjects. Various workshops were organized at NITTR, IIT-Ropar, Panjab University and Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana to explore the infrastructure of the institutions. On this occasion, Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini,  congratulated the students and while talking he said that if the students are given information about entrepreneurship along with their basic education, then in the future students can become job creators instead of job seekers. So that unemployment can be reduced. Blooming Buds School will always encourage students to be a part of such programs for the benefit of the students.
