‘Global Road Safety Week’ started from Blooming Buds School

The traffic education cell Moga team made students, drivers and conductors aware about traffic rules and cyber crime

Global Road Safety Week celebrated at Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of the area under the guidance and leadership of honourable S.S.P Moga Mr. J. Ilanchelian IPS and D.S.P Traffic Mr. Jora Singh Kangra. School Van Drivers, Helpers and students gathered in the auditorium of the school where A.S.I, Mr. Kewal Singh gave the information about the Global Safety Week which is being celebrated from 15th May 2023 to 21st May 2023 in whole State of Punjab. Under the Global Road safety Week Campaign School Drivers, Helpers and Students made aware regarding lane driving, keeping vehicle documents complete, avoiding fraud through cyber crime and getting compensation from the Silesian Fund in case of an accident with an unknown vehicle. Sardar Jora Singh Kagra DSP Traffic Moga  made aware about road safety and following traffic rules in detail. ASI Kewal Singh, in-charge Traffic Education Cell, Moga, made everyone aware in detail about keeping vehicle documents complete, not driving under the influence of drugs, using helmet while driving two wheelers, not using mobile phone while driving and lane driving. An appeal was made to install high security number plates on vehicles. In order to avoid cyber crime scams, he informed in detail that we should never share our debit or credit card information with anyone. Never share your OTP. If any cybercrime happens to anyone, they are urged to immediately file a complaint on helpline number 1930. Apart from this, information was also given regarding Silesian Fund compensation in case of an accident with an unknown vehicle. On this occasion, Mr. Rahul Chhabra, the CEO of B.B.S. Group informed all about cybercrime and told that before downloading any app in our mobile, we should check it thoroughly and the be careful before giving mobile permissions. School Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini and Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani thanked Sardar Jora Singh Kagra DSP Traffic Moga and the team of Traffic Education Cell to made aware the staff ans students of the school regarding the cybercrime and traffic rules. On this occasion, Head Constable Sukhjinder Singh Traffic Education Cell Moga, School Chairperson Chairperson Kamal Saini, Principal Dr. Hamilia Rani, CEO Rahul Chhabra, Transport Incharge Gurpratap Singh and Madam Surekha Sharma were present.
