Blooming Buds ABC Montessori school celebrated ‘Environment Day’ by planting trees.

Blooming Buds ABC Montessori School, part of District Moga’s renowned educational institutions Blooming Buds Group of Schools which is running under the able patronage of the group chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini, celebrated World Environment Day by presenting charts related to Environment Day and planting saplings in the school. Every year, young children plant saplings in the school and take care of them. During the Montessori activity, they are also taught how to water the plants so that they connect with nature from childhood. Under this, school principal Mrs. Sonia Sharma while addressing the students said that Environment Day reminds us every year that we need to take care of our environment. Every year this day is celebrated with some theme. This year’s theme is ‘Ecosystem Restoration’: restoring a healthy ecosystem. Along with this, it is our responsibility to not only restore a healthy ecosystem but also to maintain it. Planting trees and taking care of them is not only the responsibility of every person but it has become a very big need and every person should plant a tree in life and take care of it to fulfill this need. He distributed the plants to the students and instilled in them the feeling that they should plant as many saplings as possible in their lives and take care of them till they become strong, because even planting saplings is of no use unless they are cared for.
