Blooming Buds School celebrated ‘Environment Day’

Along with planting trees, it is more important to take care of them – Principal

Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of Moga city, celebrated World Environment Day under the leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini. During which the students took a pledge to plant saplings in the school and take care of them. Addressing the students on this occasion, school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that the World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 every year so that people can be inspired to take care of the environment. Because today, as per the need and in the name of development, big highways and bridges are being built, urbanization is going on due to which we have cut down so many trees that it cannot be compensated. If every person plants one sapling and nurtures it, takes care of it and develops it as a tree, then perhaps the environment can be saved for the coming generation. Under this thought, saplings were distributed to the students to plant trees in the school today and saplings were planted in the school grounds. It is worth mentioning that BBS Group has been planting and taking care of saplings on the occasion of Environment Day for the past several years. Many of them are becoming trees. During this, the students were urged to plant a tree in their life and make others aware to plant trees and take care of them. Because only by planting saplings this problem will not be solved but taking care of planted saplings is to save the environment in the true sense. Every year Environment Day is celebrated under a theme, this year’s theme is ‘Ecosystem Restoration’: restoring a healthy ecosystem. A drawing competition related to Environment Day was also organized in the school. On this occasion, School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani addressed the students and said that there is no doubt that human beings have made great progress due to their forward thinking and are still progressing, but this progress has also paid a huge price. Humans have made life happy due to progress, but now the very existence of human life is seen to be in danger. We all know very well that life is not possible on this earth without oxygen and without trees no other source of oxygen exists on this earth. Therefore, to maintain the existence of life on earth, it is necessary to plant more trees and take care of them. On this occasion, under 5th Girls Battalion running in the school NCC cadets also planted saplings.
