Blooming Buds School arranged Mehndi and Rangoli competition during summer camp

Blooming Buds School, Moga’s renowned educational institution running under able leadership of Group Chairman, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini’s arranged a summer camp under the guidance of School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani, in which students were given training mehndi design and rangoli making during hobby classes in the school. In which students learned to apply Mehndi and to make Rangoli designs. Mehndi and Rangoli competitions were organized during the summer camp. These competitions were for students of classes 3 to 12. The Mehndi competitions category asked students to create innovative designs using Mehndi. Students created a variety of simple and complex designs based on their own creative style. Apart from this, the students created very beautiful rangoli designs using different colors in the rangoli category. Some students used the theme of Phulwari, some made beautiful birds and some created designs based on their imagination. In both the category competitions, a very fierce competition was seen between the students. The designs created by the students were so beautiful that the judges had a hard time choosing the winning students. The results of different classes in both categories were as follows. Jeevika (5-B) stood first, Diljit Kaur (5-B) stood second and Sanpreet Kaur (3-B) stood third in the mehndi competitions held between classes 3 to 5. Sneha Puri (7-MG) stood first, Supriya (7-MG) and Jasmin Kaur (6-P) stood second and Shifra Jaidka (7-MG) stood third in the competition between classes VI to VIII. Jasmin Kaur (9-G) stood first, Mehkdeep Kaur (11-Commerce) stood second and Ryanshi (9-C) stood third in the competitions held between ninth to twelfth standard. Similarly, Mehkdeep Kaur (6 SD) stood first, Rajbir Kaur (6-Z) stood second and Prabhjot Singh and Jayesh (7 MG) stood third in the rangoli competitions. Among the senior students, Amandeep Kaur (8-A) stood first, Chanveer Kaur (9C) stood second and Abhijot Kaur (8-A) stood third. Meanwhile, school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that these competitions were very good. Participating students showcased their artistic talent in a very elaborate manner. The interest shown by the students in these traditional Indian art forms is more gratifying. The winning students will be awarded with trophies. The level of performance of the students was highly praised by the judges. The main objective of these competitions was to connect the students with Indian culture and heritage and create enthusiasm among the students towards it. Under the same effort, these competitions will continue to be conducted in the future.
