Blooming Buds Group of Schools made a significant contribution by planting 3800 saplings of different types under Mission Hariyali 2023 drawn up by Apna Punjab Foundation. Apna Punjab Foundation has set a target of planting 7 lakh saplings across Punjab. It was started by Dr. Gurpreet Kaur wife of Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Maan. In Moga district led by Blooming Buds Group of Schools, it inspired the children and that every child of the institution and staff member will get a certificate by taking a photo while planting a sapling and uploading it on the Apna Punjab Foundation portal. It is also worth mentioning here that this certificate will be part of the school’s internal assessment of children in the future so that the child can be made aware of the improvement of the environment. Meanwhile, BBS Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini said that this step will prove to be a milestone in the improvement of the environment. Because Wel begin is half done. He said that private schools across Punjab can set a huge record by planting saplings according to the strength of their children and staff. But for this one has to try with full sincerity and diligence. While motivating the children, he said that they should make sure to take care of it by planting saplings in their homes or at any convenient place nearby, so that the saplings can flourish and become trees. After receiving the saplings from the school, the children were full of enthusiasm for this mission. During this, school chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini and Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that Mission Hariyali 2023 is a collective effort that exemplifies the power of unity in tackling environmental challenges. The mission aims to reduce deforestation, combat climate change and increase greenery across the region. On this occasion, the entire staff and management expressed their gratitude to the Punjab Foundation and hoped that the foundation would bring more such missions in the future and Blooming Buds Group of Schools would provide full support and contribution.
