Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School, Chandanwan, Baghapurana, part of the reputed educational institutions of district Moga, BBS Group of Schools which are running under the able patronage of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini. The 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great fanfare in the school. To celebrate this day, BBS Chandanvan campus was decorated in a very beautiful manner. Students made a very beautiful rangoli dedicated to this day. The school was decorated with full patriotic atmosphere. On this day, National flag hoisting ceremony at BBS Chandanwan campus was performed by Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and school flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini. A march was conducted by the school students, which was led by school captains Dilpreet Singh and Gurjot Kaur. The role of stage management was well played by Virpal Kaur, Navjot Kaur Gill and Gagandeep Kaur Bhekha. Addressing the students on this occasion, Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Group Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini told that our country India became independent on 15.08.1947. This freedom was achieved by our patriots and heroes by shedding blood. India was called the golden sparrow. It was plundered by the Mughals and the British according to their will. But from time to time some saints, revolutionaries and patriots came to India and raised their voice against the Mughals and saved it. Many movements were launched and sacrifices were made to achieve freedom. The precious lives of many patriots like Kartar Singh Sarabha, Bhagat Singh, Lala Lajpat Rai, Hari Krishna, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Sukhdev, Rajguru etc. were sacrificed. In this way, the history of India’s independence is very long and old. Various items were presented by the students on this occasion. On this occasion, school head teacher Madam Anjana Rani congratulated all the staff and students on this Independence Day.
