The festival of Rakhi is a symbol of mutual love between brothers and sisters and the feeling of protecting the sister in the heart of the brother. On this festival, a sister ties a rakhi on her brother’s wrist with the belief that her brother will protect her in difficult times throughout her life. She further said that our country India has been a country of fairs and festivals since the beginning. Many festivals are celebrated in our country from time to time. Among them Rakhi festival is also an important festival. About the beginning of Rakhi, she told the students that in the Dwapara era, when the Kauravas tried to kill Draupadi, Lord Krishna helped her, during which Lord Krishna’s finger was injured. At that time, Draupadi tore a cloth from her sari and tied it on Krishna’s wound. Lord Krishna considered Draupadi as his sister and promised to protect her. This tradition started from this day that the sister who becomes a rakhi on her brother’s wrist, then the brother will protect her all his life.
