Blooming Buds School celebrated ‘World Sanskrit Day’

Blooming Bud’s School, a renowned educational institution of the area under the able leadership of, BBS Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini celebrated World Sanskrit Day during morning assembly. During which students presented charts and articles and shared information about the day. In an effort to honor one of the world’s oldest known languages, World Sanskrit Day is observed every year in the month of Shravan or Savan of the Hindu calendar. It is celebrated on the full moon day, which is celebrated on August 31 as World Sanskrit Day. The purpose of celebrating this day is to promote awareness and promotion of Sanskrit language. This language is also considered as Dev Vani (language of gods). Sanskrit has also been used to write some important scriptures in Hinduism such as Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita. Many people believe that Sanskrit was composed by Lord Brahma to the sages. While learning about the history of celebrating this day, school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that the celebration of Sanskrit Day was announced by the Government of India in 1969. The day is celebrated as a tribute to the works and legacy of the famous Sanskrit scholar Panini, whose contribution to the development of the language is significant and unparalleled till date. She further said that this Indo-Aryan language has not only successfully left its mark in the Indian subcontinent but has also spread to continents like Europe. Having the most extensive vocabulary, Sanskrit is well known for its contributions to languages ​​such as Greek and Latin. She also presented many Sanskrit shalokas to the students. Blooming Buds School’s celebration of World Sanskrit Day was not only an educational endeavor but also a heartfelt tribute to a language that is the bedrock of India’s culture and heritage. It is a reminder that a nation has deep roots, and should be celebrated with pride and gratitude.
