Chand Nawan Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School, Village-Chand Nawan, Tehsil-Baghapurana is a part of BBS Group of Schools, a reputed educational institution of District Moga, which is running under the able patronage of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great fanfare in school. Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini specially attended on this occasion at BBS Chand Nawan Campus. The role of stage management was well played by Gurjot Kaur and Gagandeep Kaur. To celebrate this day and to give special honor to the teachers, Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini and the staff of BBS Chand Nawan jointly cut the cake. While addressing the students on this occasion, Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini told that every year Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th September. This day marks the birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India. He was a great educator who devoted 40 years of his life to the profession of education. We are well aware of this fact, no matter how much we learn, if the teacher does not have a hand in it then that education is not successful and the tradition of guru and disciple in our country is centuries old. It is being followed till date in our country and society. The tradition of guru and disciple has been going on for centuries in our country. Under the tradition of guru and shishya, the guru imparts education to his disciple with his wisdom and understanding. Later when the same disciple grows up and teaches others as Guru. On this occasion, he also told that teachers help us in many ways to achieve success. On this occasion, various items were presented by the students of the school. On this occasion, all the staff of the school was given the best wishes on Teacher’s Day.
