Blooming Buds School hosted 2nd Yogasana competition organized by Moga Yoga Association (Regd.)

The winning contestants were awarded with medals and certificates

Blooming Buds School village Talwandi Bhangerian hosted the 2nd District Yogasana Sports Championship-2023 organized by District Moga Yoga Association (Regd.) The information about this championship was also shared by BBS group chairman and President of District Moga Yoga Association Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini. On this occasion Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Chairperson BBS Group Madam Kamal Saini, Principal of Blooming Buds School Moga Dr. Hamiliya Rani and CEO Mr. Rahul Chhabra were present. The championship was started by lighting the torch. President Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini ji welcomed all the contestants and their team in-charges. During his address, he said that we can live a healthy life through Yog Sadhana, which has been going on since the Vedic period, and for this purpose, these competitions are being organized by the Moga Yoga Association. He wished all the best to the contestants participating in the championship. In this competition Madam Satveer Kaur (B.P.Ed.) Blooming Buds School, Moga and Munish Kumar (M.P.Ed.) D.N. Model School, Moga and coach Vaibhav Kumar, Golden Earth Convent School acted as judges. In this championship, contestants from 8 years to 45 years of age from across the district participated and performed yoga asanas. Boys and girls competitions were held under different categories. 5 yoga asanas were conducted from each group according to their age category. The scores were compiled by the judges based on the children’s balance, patience and endurance. There were different yoga asanas for each age group. Asanas were selected according to the difficulty level of the asana. Medals as well as certificates were distributed to the winning students. Apart from this, certificates were given to every contestant who participated. It was also informed that these winning athletes will further participate in the state level competition which will be held at Ludhiana by Punjab Yoga Association at DCM, Young Entrepreneur School, Ludhiana. At the end of the championship, the president of Moga Yoga Association Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini ji honored the judges by giving badges of honour. He congratulated the winning students and wished them good future.
