Chandanwaan Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School boys won medals in the Zonal Athletics Meet.

Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School, Village-Chandanwan, Tehsil-Baghapurana is a part of BBS Group of Schools, a reputed educational institution of District Moga, which is running under the able patronage of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini. Students of this school won 24 medals in the zonal athletics meet. On this occasion, the head teacher Madam Anjana Rani thanked the management of BBS Group of Schools that due to the facilities and good infrastructure provided by them, the students are excelling in sports as well as studies. . On this occasion, the head teacher told that the athletics meet of Droli Zone was held at Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Stadium, Ghalklan. Sukhmanpreet Singh (10+1) won first place in javelin throw (under-17), javelin throw (under-19) ) Gurnoorpreet Singh (10+1) won the third place, Barjodh Singh (10+1) won the first place in Walk Race 3000m (Under-17). Walk Race (Under-17) Armaan Manchanda (10th) secured second position. Discus Throw (Under-17) Armaan Manchanda (10th) secured second position. Akashdeep Singh (10+2) got third place in discus throw (under-19). Jaskaran Singh (10+1) got second place in hammer throw (under-19). Long jump (under-19) Sandeep Singh (10+2) got second place. In high jump (under-19), Jaskaran Singh (10+2) won the third position. 200 m (Under-19) Jobanpreet Singh (10+2) won third place. Hurdle (110 m) (Under-19) Jaskaran Singh (10+1) won second place. Hurdle race (400 m) (Under-19) Sandeep Singh (10+2) secured first position and Dilbagh Singh (10+1) secured third position. In Under-19 (4 X 400m) relay race, Sandeep Singh, Paramveer Singh, Jobanpreet Singh and Ramanpreet Singh won the first place. In Under-19 (4X100) Dilpreet Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Gurnurpreet Singh and Gurkanwal Singh won the third place. In cross country, Sukhpreet Singh (10+1) got second place, Gurvinder Singh got second place and Dilpreet Singh got third place. The winning students were honored in the school assembly and they and their parents were congratulated. BBS Chandanwan Sports Incharge Madam Jasveer Kaur was also present on this occasion.
