Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School, Village Chand Nawan, Tehsil-Baghapurana is a part of BBS Group of Schools, a renowned educational institution of District Moga, which is running under the able patronage of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini. Girls athletics team of the school performed very well in the zonal athletic meet. Speaking on this occasion, school principal Madam Anjana Rani said that the group chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini is providing very good facilities in the BBS institutes with which the students of the BBS institutes bring glory to school in studies and sports as well. She gave detailed information that Mehakpreet Kaur (10+2) won the first place in the hurdle race. Komalpreet Kaur (10+2) won first place in 5000m race. Komalpreet Kaur (10+2), Sandeep Kaur (10+2), Jashandeep Kaur and Komalpreet Kaur won second place in 100mx4 relay race. Pari Kataria (10+1) got second place in 1500 meter race. Pari Kataria, Prabhjot Kaur, Sulekha Das and Mamtapreet Kaur got first place in relay race 400 meters. Komalpreet Kaur (10+2) got third place in 100m race. Mamtapreet got third place in 800m race. Jashandeep Kaur got second place in 5000m race. In U-14 600m race Anchal Kaur won 3rd place. Sahajpreet Kaur won 3rd place in shot put. Shehnaz won 2nd place in 80m hurdle race. Emanatpreet Kaur won 1st place in jump and second in hurdle race. In the 400 meter relay race, Noor Kataria, Mandeep Kaur, Manmeet Kaur and Kasamjot Kaur won the first place. In the 3000 meter race, Rajvir Kaur won the third place and Pawanvir Kaur won the second place. Kasamjot Kaur secured third position in 1500 meter race. Husandeep Kaur won the third place in triple jump. On this occasion, the school head teacher congratulated the group winners. On this occasion, Sports Incharge Madam Jasveer Kaur Jaimalwala and Mandeep Kaur Brar Chandpurana were congratulated and a special prayer meeting was organized to honor the winning students.
