Blooming Buds School, Moga celebrated birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga city, under the leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini, celebrated the birth anniversary of first guru of Sikhis, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji with great reverence and fanfare.  A special meeting was held in the school on the occasion of Prathana Sabha, during which the words of Shri Guru Granth Sahib were recited beautifully. The atmosphere was given a very supernatural devotional look by the students. Apart from this, very beautiful and instructive charts and articles on the biography of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji were presented by the students. While presenting the oracle, the students were told that the birthday of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji is celebrated every year on Purnima of Punjabi month Katak (Kartik). They said that Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the first Guru of Sikhism and Guru Ji devoted his entire life to the welfare of mankind and to remove the evils spread in the society. Guru Nanak ji taught mankind to ‘kirt karo, naam japo and wand shako’. On this occasion, Principal Madam Dr. Hamiliya Rani while highlighting the efforts made by Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji for humanity said that Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji tried to make human life meaningful through his works and teachings like, People should not fall into superstitions, not follow false customs, believe in only one God ‘Ek Omkar’, respect women, do not hurt any living being, do not look evil on other people’s wealth, work hard, etc. She also said that all students must imbibe the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in their lives.
