Blooming Buds School Moga hosted ‘English Subject Training Program’ organized by CBSE
45 teachers of CBSE schools of Moga district participated
Blooming Buds School, Moga, a renowned educational institution of Moga city, under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini and under the direction of school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani hosted two-day training organized by COE cell of the CBSE for English subject teachers of Moga district under the capacity building program. During this training CBSE Resource Person Mrs. Rakhi Thakur, Principal Delhi Public School, Khanna, District Ludhiana and Mrs. Puneet Kaur, TGT Teacher, Das & Brown World School, Ferozepur gave detailed information about the subject of English Language and Literature. In this training 45 teachers of Moga district participated. Sharing information about this, she said that the main objective of the training is to equip educators with innovative teaching methods. Resource person aims to make teachers aware of the profound importance of language and practical and effective approaches to impart language skills to students. During the training they highlighted the importance of context cues and provided techniques to enable educators to teach students to master meaning from context, a fundamental skill important for comprehensive language proficiency. In addition, the session was a catalyst to inspire teachers to inspire students towards a passionate journey towards reading. They emphasized on promoting social awareness and critical thinking through the habit of reading. They told the teachers about various activities to learn the language easily in the classroom. As students prefer to study in groups, they can be motivated to study in groups by giving different tasks. They gave detailed information about the various modules of English language, reading, writing, listening and speaking. They told teachers about various ways to improve the vocabulary of their students by which the vocabulary of the students can be improved. Also, by connecting the rules of English grammar to examples from everyday life, such as conversations, activities, or stories, they showed how students can understand grammatical concepts experientially without feeling burdened. On this occasion, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Raniji appreciated this initiative taken by the COE cell the Board and said thanks. From the knowledge gained from this training, teachers can easily teach English language to their students. The resource person thanked the school management. School Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini and Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani honored the resource person by giving a trophy.
