16th Blooming Buds School, Games (Senior Wing) ended leaving memorable impact

Indian cricket all-rounder 'Irfan Pathan' was honored with a commemorative token.

16th BBS has been going on for the past few days under the leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini at Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga city. The Annual Games (Senior Wing) ended with an indelible mark. Around 38 indoor and outdoor sports and 22 track and field events were participated by students in these annual sports. International cricketers Irfan Pathan and Paramjit Singh Bassi (Australia) participated in this prize distribution ceremony. B.B.S. Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani, Vice Principal Mrs. Nidhi Brar, Jessica Saini, Neha Saini and Natasha Saini presented bouquet of flowers to the chief guests. The ceremony began in a very charming and beautiful manner. After welcoming the chief guests, The march past was led by the band and the national flag was saluted. After this march past, the games were started by the chief guest international cricketer Irfan Pathan. All the house teams took a pledge to play the games with integrity and discipline and to bring honor to the school. After this, the Chief Guest and Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini jointly lit the sports torch of the school and this torch was handed over to the School Captains. After this, the group chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini addressed the players. At the beginning of the ceremony a beautiful display was put on by the Bagpiper Band. The function began auspiciously with a beautiful classical dance on Ganesh Vandana. Group dance by the intermediate group, regional dance and Punjabi folk dance by the senior girls on the theme of patriotism enthralled the audience. Students showcased their agility through gymnastics and yoga displays. Umbrella exercise and bat drill were presented by the students of classes IV-V. After this, a very spectacular and heart-warming performance of ‘Gatka’ was performed. Along with all these, sports competitions were announced by the chief guest and the school management and staff. During these games, the winning students were honored with medals and trophies by the chief guests. All this ceremony was openly appreciated by the chief guest Irfan Pathan. They especially liked the Punjabi folk dance Giddha performed by the senior girls. After this he appreciated the B.B.S. group’s efforts to promote sports. He also said that this time due to lack of time he could not enjoy the whole ceremony but in the future soon he will visit the Blooming Buds School again with free time. At the end of the ceremony, all the chief guests were felicitated.
