Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga city which is running Under the able leadership of Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, tribute were paid to the four Sahibzadas of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji during a special assembly commemorating their martyrdom on the occasion of the ongoing Martyrdom Days and Veer Bal Divas. On this occasion, the Shabad sung by the students, ‘Watan lanmbian te rasta pahar da’, left the eyes of all the staff and students moist. Under the guidelines issued by the CBSE and the Ministry of Education Department of Punjab, various activities to share information about the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas Baba Ajit Singh Ji, Baba Jujhar Singh Ji, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji and their bravery. Students shared detailed information about the four Sahibzadas and presented songs dedicated to their martyrdom while singing Shabad. They told how Sarbansdani Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji made his four sons accountable to the nation. Opposite to the armies of the Mughals and hill kings, both the elder Sahibzada Ajit Singh and Jujhar Singh were martyred in the battle of Chamkaur Sahib, and after refusing to accept Islam, the Nawab of Sirhind gave many tortures to the two younger Sahibzadas, they were branded in the walls and finally got killed. Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini shared the information with the students and said that Mughal forces broke their promise to Guru Sahib and suddenly attacked Guru Sahib’s convoy. Many Sikhs were martyred in this battle. Guru Sahib’s younger sons and Guru Sahib’s mother separated from him. This is the reason why these days have been named family separation days. Paying tribute to the greatness of the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas, Mrs. Kamal Saini further said that the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas teaches us a lot. If we consider the martyrdom of two great comrades, Ajit Singh and Jujhar Singh, it teaches us that no matter how big a problem is faced in life, we should always face it with full courage and strength. In the same way, if we consider the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas, it teaches us that one should never succumb to evil or oppression in life. Those children were also told that we should adopt the teachings given by the Gurus in our lives so that we can live a true life. All staff and students were present on this occasion.
