Blooming Buds ABC Montessori School celebrated the festival of ‘Christmas’

Blooming Buds ABC Montessori School is part of the Blooming Buds Group of Schools, a renowned educational institution in Moga where the ‘Christmas’ festival was celebrated under the leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. The students disguised themselves as Santa Claus and sang ‘Jingle Bells song’ and toffees and chocolates were distributed among the students present in the assembly. During the morning assembly in the school, the students shared information related to this day through charts and articles and said that Christmas is a festival celebrated every year on December 25 in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. The 12-day festival Christmastide also begins from this day. This festival has a special significance in the Christian community. Modern Christmas holidays include giving gifts to each other, church ceremonies and various decorations. The display of these decorations includes Christmas tree, colorful lights, nativity scenes and rangoli etc. Santa Claus (also known as “Father of Christmas”) is a beloved ancient figure associated with Christmas who is often associated with bringing gifts to children at Christmas. The little tiny-tots looked very cute dressed up as Santa Claus. School Principal Mrs. Sonia Sharma congratulated all on Christmas festival and wished a happy New Year as well. Meanwhile, Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini told the children that the festivals celebrated in India are a symbol of India’s unity and integrity. Festivals bring happiness in our life. India is a secular country where people of many religions live and each religion has many festivals associated with it which reflect the background and culture of those religions. We should respect each religion and its associated festivals and celebrate each festival with full joy and enthusiasm. All staff and students were present on this occasion.
