Blooming Buds school players won medals and cash prizes in shooting championship

Blooming Buds School, the renowned educational institution of Moga city, Under the able leadership of group chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini, it has been continuously performing excellently in the field of education as well as sports. Establishing a milestone under this campaign, players of Blooming Buds School won four gold, two silver, one bronze and cash prize of Rs.2100 in the 9th Colonels Sharp Shooters Open Shooting Championship held at PAP Shooting Range, Jalandhar on April 15. Expressing these words, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that about 500 players from Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Moga, Sangrur, Mansa and other districts participated in these competitions. In these competitions, players of different age groups participated in different events. Harkaranveer Singh of Blooming Buds School bagged the first position in Peep Sight Rifle Competition with an overall score of 393 and won the Gold Medal along with a cash prize of Rs.2100. Harkaranveer bagged the third position in the ‘Champions of Champions’ category. After this, Kudratpreet Kaur increased the honor of the school by aiming for the gold medal in the Peep Sight Rifle under-12 age group competition. Manveer Singh bagged the gold medal in the under-15 Open Sight Rifle competition, Karanveer Singh Sahota won the gold medal and Jaspreet Singh won the silver medal in the under-17 category. Sahib Arjun Singh won silver medal by securing 2nd position in under 15 category and Princedeep Singh won bronze medal by securing 3rd position in air pistol competition. During the morning assembly in the school, the principal madam honored all the students by calling them on the stage and congratulated the players and their coach Harjit Singh on their achievement. Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini also encouraged the students on this occasion and said that this achievement is the result of the hard work of the students and the high level training of coach Harjit Singh. She said that the school has built a fully computerized shooting range of international level for the practice of the students where after shooting at the target, the result comes on the laptop screen. It is due to these facilities and the hard work and dedication of the students that the school has earned this distinction. The Chairperson madam while giving good wishes to the students said, We hope that next time other students will take inspiration from these students and aim higher.
