Blooming Buds School, encouraged students to connect with books on the occasion of ‘World Book Day’

Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of the area, shared information with the students about World Book Day under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini. Students presented charts and articles related to this day. While presenting the article, the student informed about its history and said that on the 23rd day of April many prominent writers of the world, William Shakespeare, Miguel de Cervantes died. The date was used to pay universal tribute to books and authors and encourage everyone to have access to books. This is why World Book Day is celebrated on April 23 every year. They further explained the importance of books and said that books play an important role in every student’s life by introducing them to the world of imagination, imparting knowledge of the outside world, improving their reading, writing and speaking skills as well as memory and play an important role in enhancing intelligence. While addressing the students, School Vice Principal Mrs. Nidhi Brar said that due to today’s technological era, many people or students are moving away from books. Books are full of knowledge, they give us the right way to live life. Books teach us about difficulties, love, fear and every little thing that is a part of life. Books have existed here for centuries and impart knowledge about our history, civilizations and cultures. She encouraged the students to go to the school library and read good books. She said that thousands of books related to every subject are available for the students in the library built in the school. Where they can go and gain knowledge by reading books on their favorite subject. All the staff and students were present on this occasion.
