Blooming Buds School arranged training session to use fire extinguishers for students and staff
Blooming Buds School, Moga, a renowned educational institution of Moga city, under the able leadership of group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, arranged a training session for students and staff members in the school to use fire extinguishers. During which the students were shown and taught how to control different types of fire in different situations, at different places. On this occasion, S. Harpreet Singh from Galaxy Fire Services was present who gave detailed information about fire safety to the students. A mock-drill was organized in the school ground in which practical training was given to control fire while keeping oneself safe. Apart from this, students, drivers and helpers were also taught how to use different types of fire safety devices. S. Harpreet Singh explained in detail that if an unpleasant incident like a fire occurs in school, at home or sometimes while traveling in a school van, then we should act with courage and sense. If we have fire safety devices and know how to use them correctly, the damage caused by fire can be reduced and many lives can be saved. He also highlighted that all types of fire cannot be controlled with water. Electric wire fire, petrol fire or gas fire cannot be controlled with water. Sand or fog should be used to control this type of fire. During this drill, students and staff used fire extinguishers on the school grounds themselves to avoid any untoward incident. On this occasion, school chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini shared the information and told whether Blooming Buds organization is committed to the safety of each and every one of its students. Fire hydrant systems are installed in every block of the school and hose reels are installed on every floor. Apart from this, fire extinguishers are installed in every part of the school and are checked periodically. Apart from this, these devices are also fitted in school vans and the drivers and helpers are kept informed about this. After this, CEO of the school Rahul Chhabra and group management thanked Harpreet Singh for this training.
