
Blooming Buds School celebrated First ‘National Space Day’
Information about the successful landing of Vikram Lander through Chandrayaan-3 was shared with the students
Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga city under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini celebrated first National Space Day. During the morning assembly in the school, charts and articles related to this day were presented by students and information related to this day was shared with other students. Students said that last year on August 23, 2023, Vikram Lander of ‘ISRO’ Indian Space Research Organization successfully landed on the moon through Chandrayaan-3. With this success, it became the fourth country to successfully land on the Moon and the first to land in the South Pole region of the Moon. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared August 23 as National Space Day for this great success of ISRO. Sharing more information about this, school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that the theme of this year’s National Space Day is “Touching Life While Touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga”. The theme reflects India’s extraordinary journey into space and its impact on society. She emphasized the importance of inspiring young minds about space exploration. It also said that National Space Day is a wonderful opportunity to ignite students’ passion for science and technology. The aim of this day is to instill curiosity and creativity among students and encourage them to become scientists and inventors of the future. After this, school chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini said that the more advanced the science of a country is, the speed of progress of that country will be correspondingly higher. She further said that influenced by these successes, every student should give a new direction to his life and contribute to the progress of the country by achieving his desired position.
