Blooming Buds School student won first place in the Baal Lekhak International Conference
Jasmeet Kaur got Rs 11000 cash prize along with first position trophy - Principal
Blooming Buds School, the renowned educational institution of Moga city, Under the able leadership of group chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini is moving forward creating a distinct identity in the field of education, sports and literature. Under the same series, Jasmeet Kaur Sandhu, an eleventh commerce student of the school, brought the name of the school to light by winning the first place in the poetry recitation competition held at the international level. Expressing these words, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that a two-day international conference was organized by Panjab Bhavan, Surrey (Canada) on November 16-17 under the leadership of founder Sukhi Bath Ji. In which around 350 students from across the country participated. 7 students of Blooming Buds School also participated. In this poetry recitation competition, Jasmeet Kaur Sandhu of the school recited her poem ‘Azeez Mehram’, which was well received by the audience and Jasmeet Kaur Sandhu won the first place in this poetry recitation competition. Along with this honour, Jasmeet Kaur Sandhu also received a trophy, a medal, a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize of 11000/-. The school principal honored Jasmeet Kaur Sandhu by inviting her on the stage. She said that this initiative taken by Punjab Bhavan Surrey is a commendable step to keep students connected with literature, culture and heritage. School Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini congratulated Jasmeet Kaur Sandhu and wished that this student will take the name of the school higher in the future. She also said that other students should take inspiration from Jasmeet Kaur Sandhu’s achievement. All the staff and students were present on this occasion.
