Chandnawan Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School’s 8th Annual Games began with a Grand Opening

Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School, Village Chandnawan is a part of BBS Group of Schools, the prestigious, renowned and progressive educational institutions of District Moga, which is running under the able patronage of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, started the 8th Annual Games in an explosive style. To inaugurate this special ceremony, Deputy Superintendent of Punjab Police and Indian Olympian Mr. Tajinderpal Singh Toor, who has been a two-time Asian Games champion, a gold medalist of the Asian Games and a four-time National Champion, was the chief guest. The function was inaugurated by Chief Guest and Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, School Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. Tricolor flag, BBS school flag and BBS sports flag were hoisted respectively. The chief guests were welcomed by the school head teacher Madam Anjana Rani, all the staff and students. After this, the chief guest, Tajinderpal Singh Toor, started the event. He thanked all the parents who came, the school management and wished all the best to the players participating in the games. Giving a message to the students, he said that both education and sports are equally important for every student. So don’t think about the ground when you are in the classroom and don’t think about the classroom when you are in the ground. All the house teams marched past under the leadership of School Captain Dilpreet Singh and Gurjot Kaur and saluted all the three flags. Along with this, the chief guest Tajinderpal Singh Toor lit the BBS sports torch and handed it over to the school captain. He handed over this torch to all the house captains who, while going around the playground, carried the burning torch to the group chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini. On this occasion, the Chief Guest, Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, School Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, Head Teacher Madam Anjana Rani, Kulwant Singh Toor, Pamma Khosa, Jagmeet Brar, Harry Dhillon, Ankush Dhillon and Mr. Devinderpal Singh Rimpi lit the Holy Jyoti. The ceremony started with a very beautiful group dance. The enthusiasm of the guests and students was visible. PT display was done by the students. There will be a total of 20 sports and 19 track and field events in this sports event. On this occasion, Devinder Pal Singh Rimpi, Chairman Desh Bhagat Group of Colleges, Bedi Sahib Samrala, Harry Dhillon Australia, Ankush Dhillon Australia, Rahul Chhabra, Punjab Masih, Vishesh Khera etc. were present.
