Chandnawan Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School’s 8th Annual Sports and Cultural Program concluded with unforgettable memories.

Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School, Village-Chandnawan is a part of BBS Group of Schools, a reputed, prestigious and forward-looking educational institution of District Moga, running under the able patronage of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. In the School the ongoing 8th  annual sports event ended with unforgettable memories. In these annual sports events and cultural programs, about 20 indoor and outdoor sports and 19 track and field events were participated by the students. The ceremony began in a very charming and beautiful manner. After welcoming the chief guests, students of BBS Chandnawan marched past and saluted the national flag. After this march past, the games were started by the chief guest Indian Olympian Mr. Tajinderpal Singh Toor. All the house teams took a pledge to play the games with integrity and discipline and to increase the honor of the school. Indian Olympian Mr. Tajinderpal Singh Toor while addressing the students and parents said that they were not good students in studies. His interest was more in sports. He used to pay a lot of attention to his sports, thanks to which he has today been appointed DSP in Punjab Police. He addressed the parents that they should encourage their children towards sports as well as education. After this, the chief guest and chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini jointly lit the sports torch of the school. After this, the group chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini addressed the players and told the guests and the parents of the students about the achievements of BBS Chandnawan. At the beginning of the ceremony, the students presented a welcome group dance. After this display like PT. Display, Lazium, Ribbon, Saree Drill etc. introduced. After this, patriotic songs and dances were performed by the children and words dedicated to Sikhism were sung. Along with all these, sports competitions were announced by the chief guest and the school management and staff. During this, the winning students in the finals of sports competitions such as dodge ball, kho-kho, kabaddi, throw ball, volley ball, cricket, handball, badminton, table tennis etc. were awarded with medals and trophies. Giving information, school principal Madam Anjana Rani said that inter-house sports competitions were conducted in team games, out of which the winning team was given a running trophy and the best player was given an individual trophy. Finally, the chief guest Tajinderpal Singh Toor, Kulwant Singh Toor, Harry Dhillon Australia, Ankush Dhillon Australia, Harpreet Singh Bedi, Davinderpal Singh Rimpi, Pamma Khosa, Jagmeet Brar, Sukhdeep Sharma, ATO Moga and all the parents of the school appreciated the achievements of BBS. They further said that They are feeling very proud and happy to reach this sports event. He Congratulated the BBS institution which is making great achievements in the field of sports as well as education under the proper management of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. After this, B.B.S. Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, Davinderpal Singh Rimpi Chairman Cambridge International School, Moga jointly presented a memento to the chief guest Indian Olympian Mr. Tajinderpal Singh Toor. At the end, the popular folk dance of Punjab, Bhangra, was performed by the school students.
