Blooming Buds School, Moga celebrated National Voter’s Day

Blooming Buds School, Moga, a renowned educational institution of Moga city celebrated ‘National Voter’s Day’ under the able leadership of  Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, the students were given detailed information about the important principles of democracy, rights and responsibilities of voting. Charts and informative articles related to this day were also shared with the students. Addressing the students, said that the right to vote is the backbone of our democracy. They said that it is the duty of every countryman to become a politically conscious citizen and only by voting can we entrust the future of our country in safe hands. Voting is not only a right but also our responsibility. As a responsible citizen we should actively participate in the political process and exercise our right to vote properly. School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that voting is not limited only on election day. We should be aware of the political issues, check the policies of the political parties and express our opinion on the political issues going on in the society. She said that we should value our right to vote and use it wisely. Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini while informing the students said that this 15th National Voter’s Day is dedicated to the completion of 75 years of Election Commission of India. Election Commission of India has been playing a huge responsibility for conducting fair elections in a large democracy like India. The school staff and students were present on this occasion. All the students celebrated the National Voter’s Day with great enthusiasm and took a pledge to understand the importance of the right to vote.
