Blooming Buds School’s 32 shooters qualified for state level shooting competitions

BBS teams became district champions

Blooming Buds School, the renowned educational institution of Moga city, Under the able leadership of group chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, has been continuously performing excellently in the field of education as well as sports. Establishing a milestone under this campaign, the players of Blooming Buds School brightened the name of the school by performing brilliantly in the district level shooting competitions of Punjab School Games 2024. These words were expressed by the Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini while sharing information about this in detail, she said that these competitions of the Punjab School Games 2024 started on August 22 and the results of these competitions declared on August 28. In which Blooming Buds School stood first in shooting due to the excellent performance of the students of the school. Sharing the results, she said that 32 shooting players qualified for the state level games. In these results Udaivir Singh, Rajveer Singh Cheema and Gurshankar Singh Sivia stood first, second and third respectively in Under 14 (Boys) category in peep sight rifle competition and team BBS secured first position. In the Under 14 (Girls) category, Kudratpreet Kaur won the first place and Prabhanam Kaur won the second place. In the Under 14 (Boy) category, Sahib Arjun Singh won the first position. In the Under 19 (Boys) category, Harkaranveer Singh won the first position and Rohanjit Singh won second position. After this, Karanveer Singh Nahar and Prashant Kumar stood first and second in the Under 14 (Boys) category in Open Sight Rifle Competitions and Team BBS stood first. In the Under 14 (Girls) category, Savreet Kaur Dhillon won the first position. In Under 17 (Boys) category, Manveer Singh, Kulraj Singh and Karanveer Singh stood first, second and third respectively and team BBS stood first. In the Under 17 (Girls) category, Harleen Kaur secured the second position and Harman secured the third position. In the Under 19 (Boys) category, Anmol Singh secured the second position. Hargundeep Kaur, Ravneet Kaur and Sukhmanjot Kaur secured the first, second and third positions respectively in the under 19 girls category and BBS team stood first. Gurnoor Singh Jatana secured 3rd position in Under 14 (Boys) category in air pistol competitions. In the Under 17 (Boys) category, Princedeep Singh stood first and Harkhush Singh stood second and BBS team won first place. Ramanjot Kaur stood first in the Under 17 (Girls) category. In the Under 19 (Boys) category, Sehajpreet Singh bagged the second position. In the Under 19 (Girls) category, Gursimran Kaur won the first place and Japjijot Brar won the second place and team BBS stood first. She also said that around 80 students from schools across the district participated in these competitions. Chairperson madam congratulated all the students and coach Harjit Singh on this success. It may be mentioned that the school has built a fully computerized shooting range of international level for the practice of the students, where after shooting at the target, the result comes on the laptop screen. It is due to these facilities and the hard work and dedication of the students that the school has earned this distinction.
