Blooming Buds School U-17 Girls Win 15 Medals During ‘Moga Zone Athletic Meet’

Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of Moga city, under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini continuously showing excellent performance in the field of sports. Expressing these words, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that in the ‘Moga Zone Athletic Meet’ organized during the Punjab School Games, The Under 17 players have once again brighten the name of the school by performing brilliantly in their games. During the ‘Moga Zone Athletic Meet’, they achieved positions during the track and fields event and won 10 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, which is a matter of great pride for the school. Sharing information in detail, she said that Taranpreet Kaur of Class IX won the first place during the 800 meter race. Similarly, Satkarpreet Kaur of ninth class, Jasmeet Kaur, Mansangeet Kaur and Simranjit Kaur of tenth class won gold medals during the 4×400 meter relay race. In the shot put competition, Prachi of ninth class won the first place. Similarly, Tanveer Kaur and Abhijot Kaur of Ninth class and Gurpreet Kaur and Jagdeep Kaur of 10th class also won gold medals during the 4x100m relay race. Class IX Khushdeep Sharma and Satkarpreet Kaur won silver medals in the 400 meter race and 800 meter race. Along with this, Gurpreet Kaur from 100 meters race and Tanveer Kaur won bronze medals from 200 meters race. In javelin throw, Simranpreet Kaur of ninth class won the bronze medal by securing the third place. In the presence of all the staff and students, these students were felicitated with medals and informed that these students have now qualified for district level competitions as well. Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini encouraged the winning students and congratulated them. She said that this excellent result is the result of the hard work, dedication of the students and the high quality training provided by their coaches. She also congratulated the sports staff.
