Blooming Buds School players won medals during the ‘Athletic Meet’
Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of Moga city, under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, the students of the school are continuously showing excellent performance in the field of sports. Expressing these words, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that in the ‘Moga Zone Athletic Meet’ organized during the Punjab School Games, The Under 19 players have once again brighten the name of the school by performing brilliantly. During the ‘Moga Zone Athletic Meet’, students of School achieved positions during the track and fields event competitions, which is a matter of great pride for the school. Sharing the information in detail, she said that Ranveer Singh of class 12th got first place in shot put throw and second place in discus throw. Karanjot Singh of XI won second place in Shotput Throw. In the 500 meter race, Harjeet Kaur of class 12 won the first place and Pawandeep Kaur won second place. In the 1500m race, Jasleen Kaur won the first place and Pratibha won the second place. In the girls’ shot put throw competition, Harneet Kaur of class 11 won the first place and Jashnpreet Kaur of class 12 won the second place. Mandeep Kaur, Harjeet Kaur, Jashnpreet Kaur and Hargunpreet Kaur of class 12th in the 4x400m relay race secured the first place by showing excellent running. In the girls under-19 javelin throw competition, Taranpreet Kaur of class 12 won the first place and Pawandeep Kaur won second place. Apart from this, Harpreet Singh of XI won the first place in the shotput throw competition in the under-17 boys category, Manveer Singh won the second place in the discus throw and Harman got the third place in the javelin throw. Japleen Singh, Sukhpreet Singh, Khushpreet Singh and Harpreet Singh won the first place jointly in the boys’ 4×400 relay race. In the 200m race, Sahibjot Singh of class VIII secured second position and Japleen Singh third position. In triple jump, Gurminder Singh of Class VIII won the second place. In the presence of all the staff and students, these students were felicitated with medals and informed that these students have now qualified for district level competitions as well. Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini encouraged the winning students and congratulated them. She said that this excellent result is the result of the hard work, dedication of the students and the high quality training provided by their coaches. She also congratulated the sports staff.
