3rd Yogasana Sports Championship-2024 organized by District Moga Yoga Association concluded in a grand manner. This championship was held at Blooming Buds School village Talwandi Bhangerian, Moga. The championship was inaugurated by the chief guest S. Davinder Pal Singh (Chairman Cambridge International School, Moga & Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes) by Ribbon cutting.  BBS Group Chairman and President of Moga Yoga Association Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Vice President Mr. Gagandeep Singh Bajaj, B.B.S. Group Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, Senior Vice President Madam Rajshree, General Secretary Mrs. Pawandeep Kaur, Mr. Yashpal Saini, school Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani and Vice Principal Mrs. Nidhi Brar lit the lamp. All contestants and guests were welcomed by President Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini. During his address, he said that we can live a healthy life through yoga sadhana which has been going on since the Vedic period. After this, the president of the organization Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini invited the chief guest Mr. Davinder Pal Singh Ji who appreciated the initiative of Moga Yoga Association and wished the students participating in the championship. After this BBS Group CEO Mr. Rahul Chhabra briefed the contestants about the rules of the championship and the importance of Yoga. Around 100 students from 8 years to 21 years from across the district participated in this championship and performed yoga asanas. Boys and girls competitions were held under different categories. Yoga Asanas were conducted from each group according to their age category. The scores were compiled by the judges based on the children’s balance, patience and endurance. There were different yogasanas for each age group. The Asanas were selected keeping in mind the difficulty of the asana and the age group. Medals as well as certificates were distributed to the winning students. It was also informed that these winning students will further participate in the state level competitions to be held at Ludhiana and will be able to qualify for the national level. On this occasion, Moga Yoga Association chief guest Mr. Davinderpal Singh Rimpi was honored with a badge of honor. At the end of the championship, the president of District Moga Yoga Association Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini congratulated the winning students. He wished all the best for the upcoming state level competitions. The present guests were thanked and all the guests were felicitated with token of respect.
