Sharing information in detail in this subject, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 1 bronze medal were won in the shooting competitions of different age groups in the 68th Inter District School Games held at Government Shooting Range, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Mohali. Where Gursimran Kaur and Japjijot Brar bagged 2 team Gold Medals in U-19, Air Pistol competition. Kulraj Singh, Manveer Singh and Karanveer Singh Sahota bagged 3 silver medals in Under-17 Open Sight Rifle Competition. Prashant Kumar and Karanveer Singh Nahar bagged 2 silver medals in the Under-14 Open Sight Rifle event. Apart from this, Kulraj Singh secured his place in the National Level Competitions by securing an individual bronze medal in the Under-17 Open Sight Rifle. Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani honoured these students by calling them on the stage during the morning assembly in the school. Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini congratulated the players and their coach Harjit Singh on this achievement of the students. Encouraging the students, she said that this achievement is the result of the hard work of the students and the high level training of coach Harjit Singh. It is worth mentioning that the school has built a fully computerized shooting range of international level for the practice of the students, where the result of shooting at the target is displayed on the laptop screen.
