Chand Nawan Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School celebrated 74th Republic Day
Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School, Village-Chand Nawan is a part of BBS Group of Schools, a reputed and prestigious educational institution of District Moga, running under the able patronage of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. 74th Republic Day was celebrated with great fanfare at school campus. Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bedi, President of Samrala Hockey Club, specially attended this occasion. The National Flag and the BBS Flag hoisting ceremony was done by Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini and Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bedi. On this occasion, the students of the school presented a beautiful choreography on patriotic songs. While addressing the students on this occasion, Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini reminded them the special importance of 26th January in the history of India. After Independence, India became a Republican country on 26 January 1950. All the power of India was given in the hands of its countrymen. The people of India became the real rulers of their country. The Ministers elected by the people became the sailors of the boat of this country. Instead of the Governor General, the President was elected as the main leader of the country. Republic day comes every year to remind us of our duty. This National festival is celebrated with a great ceremony. Patriotic songs were sung by the younger students. The school management congratulated all the staff and students on this day and distributed chocolates among them.
