A special event was organized today in Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of the area, in which the famous novelist of Moga District. S. Baldev Singh Sadaknama attended with his family. On this occasion, the novel “The Mystery of Ice-Cream Mafia” written by his grandson Harshdev Singh, released by BBS Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, School Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani, Dr. Sawanjit Singh and Mrs. Manjit Kaur. On this occasion, Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini welcomed Baldev Singh Sadaknama and his entire family on coming to the school campus and while addressing he said that Baldev Singh Sadaknama does not need any recognition, he has written hundreds of books in Punjabi literature. He has a great contribution in the world of Punjabi literature. Continuing this series, his grandson from his family started writing novels by taking inspiration from his grandfather and wrote his first novel in the year 2021 which was called “Journey of Bev” and now he has written his second novel “The Mystery of Ice-Cream Mafia”. Talking about this novel Harshdev Singh said that it is a novel in the form of a story that describes the current situation of Punjab. For example, people usually drop a cup of tea on the floor while reading the terrible news in the morning newspaper. Every day the pictures of dead people on the road around the city and their body parts along with their heads lying on the road and a lot of blood scares all the families. People are afraid to take their children out to play because there are many speed bike riders who crush everything under their alloy wheels. The ice cream people were no longer selling ice cream. Ice cream trolleys were used as war machines. There was not a single day in the city in which the police were unable to find dead bodies. Finding dead bodies on the road became their daily routine. The police had no clue of the murders. The population of the city was rapidly decreasing and thousands of people fell under the grip of the mystery mafia. The novel tells the story of two members of a family who are facing a huge challenge to identify and control the mysterious mafia. Especially the main message of this novel is that one should not be seduced by any unknown people and should not use any new food item on someone’s advice. Because the drug mafia can go to any extent to trap people in their trap and make people addicted to drugs by adulterating food items. Governments make new efforts every day to find these mafias, but somewhere governments and Law & Order also fail to control it. At the time of releasing the novel, Harshdev Singh’s father Dr. Swaranjit Singh who is a news anchor of D.D. Punjabi Channel and his mother Mrs. Manjit Kaur were present. The School Management honoured the famous novelist Baldev Singh Sadaknama and his grandson Harshdev Singh with a memento. All the school staff was present on this occasion.
