Students enthusiastically participated in various activities including creating informative charts and essays presented by the students. In which the students emphasized the importance of staying safe and healthy amid rising temperatures. They informed that National Heat Awareness Day is celebrated every year on the last Friday of May month. National Heat Awareness Day is an effort by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Weather Service to make workers, employers, and the general public aware of heat-related health hazards. This day was established specifically to remind that many outdoor workers or laborers are at risk of serious heat-induced conditions such as heat exhaustion, dehydration, heatstroke, and even death. Educating those people about these conditions and their prevention can help reduce such unnecessary medical emergencies. Students highlighted the importance of staying hydrated, wearing appropriate clothing and taking necessary precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses. Through the article, students shared valuable information about the benefits of consuming certain fruits during summer season. They stressed the importance of eating hydrated fruits to replenish body water and fight dehydration. The students suggested adding fruits like watermelon, orange, strawberry and cucumber in the daily diet, as these fruits are rich in water and provide essential nutrients to beat the heat. On this occasion, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani expressed her happiness at the initiative of the students and their ability to spread awareness effectively. They highlighted the importance of collective responsibility and encouraged everyone to apply the knowledge gained from the event in their daily lives. She praised the students for their creativity, teamwork and dedication, reminding them that such initiatives play an important role in building a healthy and safe community. It is worth mentioning that such awareness campaigns are often conducted in school so that students can cleanse their bodies and avoid diseases. All the students and teachers were present on this occasion.
