Blooming Buds School organized a special assembly dedicated to the martyrdom day of Shaheed Udham Singh
Blooming Buds School, Moga, a renowned educational institution of Moga city under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini, organized a special assembly dedicated to the martyrdom day of Shaheed Udham Singh. In which students presented charts and articles about Shaheed Udham Singh and his martyrdom. After this, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani shared information about the life and works of Shaheed Udham Singh. She highlighted Shaheed Udham Singh’s bravery, patriotism and his commitment to the freedom of India and said that Shaheed Udham Singh was born on 26 December 1899 in Sunam of District Sangrur. The Jallianwala Bagh tragedy in 1919 had a profound effect on him and he took revenge by going to London on 13 March 1940 and shooting General O’dwyer. For which he was hanged on 31 July 1940. She further said that the school organized the assembly to inculcate the values of patriotism and nationalism in the minds of the students. She said that Shaheed Udham Singh was a true patriot who sacrificed his life for the freedom of India. She urged the students to learn from the lives of martyrs and work hard to make India better. Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini ji inspired the students to always remember the sacrifice of Shaheed Udham Singh and work hard to make India a strong and prosperous nation with similar patriotic intentions. She further said that the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Udham Singh is a day to remember the sacrifice of a great freedom fighter. It is also a day to honor our commitment to freedom and work for the betterment of our country. At the end of the meeting, the students took an oath to remain loyal to the unity and integrity of India.
