Blooming Buds School Moga NCC Cadets participated in the second annual training camp

Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of Moga city, under the able leadership of Group Chairman Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini, 5th Punjab Girls Battalion NCC cadets wing is running. 13 NCC girls cadets of this wing, Gurleen Kaur, Simranjit Kaur, Tanveer Kaur, Taranveer Kaur, Shilpa Ashmita Panda, Palakjot Kaur, Harleen Kaur, Jyoti Rani, Sukhmanjot Kaur, Sahajpreet Kaur, Shahreen Sibia, Satveer Kaur and Jasmeet Kaur under the guidance of Care Taker Madam Satveer Kaur attended 2nd Annual Training Camp of 10 days from 27th September to 6th October at SD College for Women, Moga. This annual camp was conducted by Commanding Officer Colonel Rajbir Singh Sharon. School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani shared information that 420 cadets from 20 different schools and colleges under the unit participated in this annual training camp. During this camp, cadets were given information about map reading, weapons training, firing, drill, leadership etc. In the training every morning PT and exercise conducted, followed by theory classes and cultural activities in the evening as well as oral tests etc. In cultural activities, Shilpa Ashmita Panda of the school won the first position in singing. Apart from this, the cadets were taught various methods to get out of difficult situations practically. Along with this, a special seminar was conducted on September 29, which was led by the wife of Colonel Rajbir Singh Sharon. In this seminar, she gave information about mental ability and physical fitness to the children. On the final day of the training camp, the cadets were felicitated and certificates were issued. During the morning assembly in the school, these 13 girl cadets were honored by the school principal by inviting them on the stage and distributing certificates. Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini ji congratulated these 13 girls cadets. She also told that NCC is a simple way to become a part of the Indian Army. Apart from this, NCC gives us ample training to be disciplined in life, to be self-reliant and to move forward even in difficult situations. She wished all the girl cadets a good future. All staff and students were present on this occasion.
