Chandnawan Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School celebrated Dussehra

Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School, Chandnawan (Moga), a part of BBS Group of Schools, renowned educational institutions of district Moga, running under the able patronage of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini, celebrated Dussehra. On this occasion, a special prayer meeting was organized at the school campus. Very beautiful charts related to this day were made by the students of the school. Addressing the students on this occasion, Madam Baljit Kaur said that the word Dussehra means the loss of a ten heads. That is why it is also called Vijay Dashami. Mainly this festival is related to Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana. Ravana was a great scholar. He knew six scriptures and four Vedas. In pride of knowledge and power, he used to harass the learned. Even though he was a scholar, he kidnapped Sita Mata and Lord Rama killed him to set free his wife Seeta.  By killing Ravana, Lord Shri Ram Chandra ji won the victory of religion, knowledge and truth over unrighteousness, ignorance and falsehood. In this connection, this festival is celebrated every year with great fanfare. On this occasion, Madam Anjana Rani congratulated all the staff and students on this holy day.
