Chanpreet Singh Kooner, grandson of Sardar Nachhatar Singh Kooner and son of Sardar Parminder Singh Kooner, a resident of Buttar village in Moga district, has been appointed as the City Manager in the township of Langley in Canada. Which is a very proud thing and a historic moment not only for the Sikh community across Canada but for the entire country of India. At the age of 29, Chanpreet Singh Kooner is the youngest person and first Indian to be appointed to such a post in the country. Which sets an excellent example for aspiring young leaders. Chanpreet Singh Kooner’s academic journey is as impressive as his professional achievements. After studying civil engineering at McGill University and law at Bond University in Australia, he is currently furthering his education at the University of British Columbia focusing on urban land economics (UBC).
