Blooming Buds School Moga celebrated 74th Republic Day
Indian Constitution is the longest written constitution in the world: Sanjeev Saini
Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga city, celebrated the 74th Republic Day in the institution under the leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. A function was organised by the students and staff to celebrate the Republic Day. It was started by BBS Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini hoisting the National Flag and Gurpreet Singh Bedi (President, The Samrala Hockey Club) hoisting the School Flag. Along with this, the school choir presented the national anthem. The students held a tricolor flag in their hands and marched past, which was led by the school captains, bagpiper band and NCC Cadets. The squad performed and saluted the national flag. During the event, Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini jointly congratulated everyone on the Republic Day and informed about the history of this day and said that the first Republic Day was celebrated on 26 January 1950, three years after independence. The Constitution was adopted by the Indian Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949, led by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. It came into force on January 26, 1950. He said that the Indian Constitution is the longest written constitution in the world. After this, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani congratulated all the students and staff on the Republic Day and said that we should not forget the sacrifice of our soldiers for the freedom of India while celebrating this day. On this occasion, patriotic songs were sung by the school choir. After this, dances were performed by the students on patriotic songs and the students sang the patriotic songs and recited poems. Students performed Role Play of great warriors who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country like Rani Lakshmi Bai, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Neta Ji Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatama Gandhi, Mangal Pandey etc. On this occasion charts were presented by the students regarding Republic Day. At the end of this function, chocolates were distributed to all the students and staff by the Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini.
