Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of Moga city, under the leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, students shared information about World Malaria Day during the morning meeting. Various types of charts, slogans etc related to this day were made by the students. While sharing information, they said that World Malaria Day was celebrated for the first time on April 25, 2008. The purpose of celebrating it is to focus people’s attention towards the dreaded disease like malaria, which kills millions of people every year. On this issue, the World Organization says that running a malaria control program can save many lives. They also told many ways to avoid this epidemic. On this occasion, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that the health of the students coming to the school is our responsibility, due to which fog spray is conducted in the school from time to time so that this malaria mosquito can be eliminated. She pointed out that the institute has a special arrangement of three to four fog machines. Meanwhile, the students were encouraged to take precautions to prevent it and take care of their health according to the weather and to keep their surroundings clean. She said that we all should be aware of this terrible disease so that this disease can be eradicated and we should give our full contribution along with the government. As now the wheat harvest season is going on and mosquitoes are becoming more and more. Fog spray is done from time to time to protect against mosquitoes in the school so that the students can be protected from this malaria disease.
