Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga city, under the leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini celebrated ‘Mother’s Day’ with great enthusiasm and fanfare. During the morning assembly in the school, very beautiful charts and motivational articles were presented by the students which showed the importance of mother. The school also organized a program in honor of each mother. In which a song dedicated to a mother was sung by the school choir and poems and songs were presented by various students. All the staff and parents present on the occasion were captivated. The young children of the junior class performed a dance depicting the greatness of ‘Mother’ and attracted everyone’s attention with their dance. Similarly, the students of 6th to 12th class also showed the glory of mother through their dance. The students of 10th class presented a play depicting the greatness of mother. Apart from this, various games like ‘Musical Chair’, ‘Marble and Spun’, ‘Blindfold Drawing’ etc. were conducted for the mothers present at the venue. The mothers present in the school participated with great interest and enthusiasm. The winners in these competitions were honored with trophies by School Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini and Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani. A dance was also presented on the stage by the mothers. On this occasion, Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini congratulated all the parents and teachers on ‘Mother’s Day’ and guided the children and told them that the greatest gift of God to man is ‘Mother’. God has created mother so that the balance of this universe remains. She also said that a person who does not respect his mother, God also does not respect him. So we should respect this priceless gift by considering our mother as a form of God. School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani while congratulating the present mother on this auspicious day, gave a message to the students that in this world ‘mother’ is a relationship whose love and devotion have no limits. A mother happily gives up all her habits and pleasures for her offspring. So ‘mother’ is more than God for all of us, so mother deserves more respect than God. She further said that the first teacher of a person after birth is his mother. There is only one ‘mother’ who can give good guidance to a person’s future. She also mentioned that the increasing number of old age homes in cities today is a matter of concern, it points to the fact that people are forgetting to respect their birth parents which is a major reason for our moral decline. Therefore, it is our duty to respect our parents.
